Josephine Giordano is a Senior Director in the Financial Forensics and Business Valuation Services Group and the Cannabis Tax & Advisory Group of BeachFleischman PLLC, Arizona’s largest locally-owned CPA firm and a “Top 200” largest CPA firm in the U.S. Ms. Giordano has over 40 years of experience as a financial professional, with a diversified background servicing numerous industries, including the cannabis industry, that encompasses audit, banking, tax, business valuation, fraud investigation and forensic accounting, business valuation, bankruptcy and restructuring, turnaround management, risk assessment, court-appointed receiverships, court-appointed special master and compliance monitor, expert witness and other litigation support services.
Giordano founded and served as the Chairperson of the Arizona Society of CPAs’ Cannabis Special Interest Section. She has authored articles as well as presented and provided training on cannabis- related topics. Ms. Giordano serves as an Education Advisory Board member of the Association of Certified Commercial Cannabis Experts and is a member of Arizona Dispensary Association. She provides operational, tax, audit, financial consulting, and litigation support services within the industry. Ms. Giordano is a cannabis industry leader within BeachFleischman PLLC which includes a multi-disciplinary group of professionals serving businesses in the areas of accounting, assurance, tax and strategic operations and advisory services. Giordano has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), a Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), is Certified in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV), a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), a Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA), a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), and a Certified Commercial Cannabis Expert (CCCE).
