Mike Conway is a seasoned retail professional with over 18 years of experience, including 6 years in the cannabis industry. He served as the Director of Retail Operations at Curaleaf, where he successfully opened their New York medical stores. Later, he joined Ascend Wellness as the Regional Vice President, overseeing their Massachusetts and New Jersey markets. During his time at Ascend, Mike played a pivotal role in launching and converting their New Jersey medical locations to adult-use in April 2022.

In 2023, Mike joined Harbour and spearheaded the opening of The Travel Agency, the third adult-use dispensary in New York City. With a track record of success, Mike has expertise in various facets of retail operations, including P&L management, team recruitment and development, store design and operations, regulatory compliance, purchasing and visual merchandising, municipal coordination, and community relations. Prior to his cannabis-specific roles, Mike started his career at Walgreens as a District Manager, responsible for managing 16 Duane Reade pharmacies in the Gramercy/Kips Bay neighborhood of New York City.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University and a Master of Science from City University of New York. Additionally, he will be sharing his industry knowledge by teaching a course on cannabis retail operations at NYU starting this fall. Outside of his professional accomplishments, Mike is an active leader in the LGBTQ+ community and resides in Harlem with his partner, Jonathan.
